We knew this stylish bench was a keeper when we discovered it at a Palm Beach estate. It derives its gravitas from the four lion heads carved into its corners, its chic elegance from the Jim Thompson fabric with which we reupholstered it—note the smashing turquoise cord detail!—and its quiet sophistication from its understated stature. As such, it could serve as a bench, a foot stool, or, with a tray on top, a colorful ottoman. The bench’s feet are carved with lion paws. For fun, the cushion, which is separate, and the bench are upholstered with the same fabric in opposite directions. Nail head trim.
