Plaster Floor Lamp with Hand Drawn Lampshade
PRODUCT DETAILS
There’s nothing like a decorative accessory that challenges the imagination. Shaped from plaster into the form of a draped and knotted swag of luxuriant fabric—cue the drama of the ruffle and puddle of ornate drapery—this floor lamp is evocative of a Carrara statue you’d see at the Uffizi in Florence, or, more aptly, of the cheeky, sculptural white-plaster furniture with which designer and decorator John Dickinson enthralled the design world in the 1970s and 80s. Think stools with pawed feet, drum-like pedestal tables cinched in rope, and table lamps that resemble branches of coral. This paper shade is hand-painted with Cocteau-inspired doodles and squiggles. Overall height with shade 61" x 18" wide
Shipping is invoiced separately. Inquire to request a quote. Please provide the shipping address in your inquiry. Domestic and international delivery available.
